Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is offering a Survivors Workshops Series: Practical Advice to Living Alone. The next workshop is on Cooking and Shopping for One with Dr. Carolyn DeSalvo and Rosalinda Castiglioni. We’ll look at how to shop and use food wisely, and how to make it a fun part of life. These survivors’ workshops will assist you with dealing with the everyday problems that are likely to arise as you now live alone and confront daily living after the loss of a loved one. Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, a non-profit organization almost entirely staffed by volunteers, is continuously looking for people to deliver equipment, offer respite to caregivers, answer phones in the office and much more.
