DESCRIPTION:Next garden walk May 10! Washington State University Clallam County Master Gardeners will lead a fast-paced walk through the Fifth Street Community Garden at 328 E. Fifth Street\, Port Angeles from 10 to 11:30 a.m. They will discuss what needs to be done in the garden\, what likely problems might appear and what integrated pest management control measures exist for common pest and diseases. Bring your questions and get timely science-based advice. Walks occur rain or shine and are free and open to the public. Special focus will be on helping gardeners know the intricacies of tomato growing success in our maritime climate. Other warm-season crops like peppers\, squash and cucumbers will also be discussed.
