SUMMARY:“Concert at the James” with the Sequim City Band
DESCRIPTION:Musical pieces in this concert are all related to the theme "A Little Water Music". Water in its frozen form is presented in a medley of selections from 'Frozen'. Or perhaps the medley 'Rain' fits when you think of water music. The symphonic piece 'The River of Life' by Steven Reineke alternates between flowing lyric strains from the woodwinds and brass-led fanfares. The band invites Encore   a small ensemble of the Peninsula Singers as special vocal guests. These pieces and more form the program for the band's second concert of the summer.
