DESCRIPTION:Please join the City of Sequim for an lndependence Day Celebration in Sequim on Thursday\, July 4\, at the Water Reuse Site at Carrie Blake Park\, 500 N. Blake Avenue. The Sequim City Band will kick off the celebration at 3:00 p.m.\, with a free concert at the James Center for the Performing Arts Band Shell including a color guard presentation by the Dungeness Unit of Civil Air Patrol. The U.S. Coast Guard will do a helicopter flyover at 4:00 p.m. The SuperNostalgic Band will perform at 5:00 p.m. followed by Black Diamond Junction at 8:00 p.m. KSQM Radio will broadcast live between live music performances. A kid-friendly activity station will be offered from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. sponsored by the Sequim Library and Sequim Community Maker Space. The event will culminate with 15-minute fireworks show by Western Fireworks Display at 10:00 p.m.
