He will share about his creative process\, from finding the right sites in the back country to developing his final images in the studio. He will also explore his view of painting as a pathway to a deep and fulfilling connection with nature and place. A Northwest native with an abiding love of his region\, David is drawn to places such as river pools on the Olympic Peninsula\, old growth forest groves\, and rocky coastal coves. In addition to being a painter\, David also works as Market Master in Seattle's Pike Place Market\, supporting the artists\, farmers and performers as they do business in the historic daystalls.
