SUMMARY:Olympic Peninsula Tourism Master Plan Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:The Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau\, in collaboration with MMGY NextFactor and its partners\, is developing a five-year Tourism Master Plan\, focused on creating a more predictable year-round economy. In considering how the tourism economy could evolve on the Olympic Peninsula\, there will be four Town Halls offered across the peninsula on September 26 and 27\, giving business leaders and residents a chance to voice their ideas\, comments and to provide feedback. It's important that tourism remains a vital economic driver while also enhancing residents' quality of life. The goal for the plan is to provide a framework for inclusive\, values-based\, responsible tourism development and promotion. It's important that this plan balances the needs of local residents and businesses who rely on visitors for their livelihoods\, as well as the visitors who experience our communities. Everyone who lives or works on the Olympic Peninsula\, or has a business in the area\, is invited to attend the Town Halls.
