DESCRIPTION:Paint the Peninsula is an outdoor painting competitiion drawing 25 professional painters from the U.S. and Canada to paint in the open air for a week beginning August 22\, 2016. All paintings will be for sale and will extend from Port Townsend to Sequim to Port Angeles to Neah Bay down to Kalaloch. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm\, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. On Wednesday August 24 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm there will be a reception for 50 paintings of Olympic National Park\, awards for best paintings\, and centennial birthday celebrating the National Park Service.
