DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a poetry reading on a summer evening with Clallam County Poet Laureate\, Jaiden Dokken. Jaiden will share a selection of their poetry\, and read works by other poets. Jaiden's own work is often reflective of growing up in Sequim and experiencing life on the North Olympic Peninsula. A reception will follow the reading. Jaiden Dokken (they/them) is a local writer\, ceramicist\, stamp-carver\, reader\, illustrator\, and cidermaker. They are an Editor and Reader for Perennial Press\, and have published work in Fiction International\, Algorithm\, Muses & Vices\, SpeakEasy\, Superfroot Magazine\, and Pile Press. Jaiden is currently serving as Clallam County's first Poet Laureate. This event is generously funded in part by Friends of Sequim Library.
