Superintendent Regan Nickels will provide an in-depth overview of the two key propositions on the upcoming February 2025 ballot:\n\n \n\n1. Renewal of Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Levy\n\n2. School Construction Bond Resolution\n\n \n\n \n\nSuperintendent Nickels brings a wealth of experience to the district. Originally from Maine\, she began her teaching career there before relocating to Bremerton\, Washington\, due to her husband's naval career. She pursued further education at City University in Bellevue and Western Washington University in Bellingham. After returning to Maine\, she served in various administrative roles\, culminating in her appointment as Superintendent of RSU 22 in July 2020. She was named Sequim School District Superintendent in March 2022.\n\nNickels' leadership focuses on enhancing the student experience\, improving achievement\, addressing enrollment challenges\, and managing the district budget.
