SUMMARY:SHRED EVENT
DESCRIPTION:"COMMUNITY SHREDDING EVENT SATURDAY\, JUNE 20" Sequim\, WA It's time to clean out your filing cabinets and desks to get rid of confidential\, private\, or other important documents that you no longer need to keep! The Sequim Free Health Clinic will host its annual Community Shredding Event on Saturday\, June 20\, 2026\, from 9:00 a.m. to noon (or until the truck is full) at the Trinity United Methodist Church front parking lot located at 105 S Blake Ave. in Sequim. This community event gives residents the opportunity to have their confidential\, private\, and important documents destroyed by a professional shredding service onsite. This type of shredding turns sensitive documents into confetti-sized pieces\, ensuring that confidential material cannot be copied. All paper material shredding during the event will then be recycled. Materials that are not confidential in nature\, such as newspapers and magazines\, will not be accepted as they will cause the truck to fill up more quickly. The shredder can handle simple staples\, paper clips\, spiral notebooks\, and thin metal prongs\, however it cannot accept 3 ring binders. Please limit the number of boxes you bring to 3 standard bankers' boxes (10"H x 12"W x 15"D) per person so we can serve as many residents as possible. Suggested donations at $20 or more to support The Sequim Free Health Clinic that provides free\, quality healthcare to those in need are welcome! For more information about this event\, please call The Sequim Free Health Clinic at 360-582-0218.
