DESCRIPTION:Blue Whole Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of its "Ten by Ten" exhibition November 1st\, with a reception from 4 to 7pm.  The public is invited.  The exhibition will hang in the gallery through the month of November.\n\nThe concept for the exhibition is different from other art shows the gallery has put on in the past. It's simple: the entire exhibition is to be made up of hanging art in the size of 10" by 10\," and every piece must be hung from an attached wire and must be for sale.  Entry into the show was open to all artists in all mediums.  November was chosen for the show since tourism has slowed and there aren't other major art shows going on that month.     \n\nThe gallery advertised the show via social media and local art groups as well as Galleries located in Port Townsend\, Forks\, Poulsbo\, and Bainbridge.  Ten By Ten will showcase art by 70 local and regional artists displaying 130 pieces of art! \n\n "When I purposed the idea of a Ten by Ten exhibition\, I had no idea it would be this large\," stated Julie Hembree.  "I'm just so excited on all levels.  I can't wait to see the art and meet all of these wonderful artists.  I'm sure it's going to be a fun evening for all of us."  Julie has been the main contact for the event and has worked nonstop since January to make this happen.  "We want this to be an annual event for the artist community and Blue Whole Gallery." \n\nPlease join us November 1st for the opening reception.  The show will hang in the gallery through the month of November.
