SUMMARY:Working on Wellness (WOW!) Forum
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Usha Reddi\, with the OMC Sleep Medicine Clinic\, will present a free WOW! Working on Wellness Forum on Wednesday March 11th at 2:30 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church\, 100 South Blake Avenue\, in Sequim. Seating is limited so please arrive early. Sleep is an active state of rest during which time complex changes occur in different parts of our body. Therefore\, normal sleep is incredibly important for appropriate functioning of the entire body. At this presentation Dr. Reddi will provide an overview of common sleeping disorders and how sleep works for people at different stages of their life. Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic Sequim's free clinic. The Clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. Our work is supported by more than seventy volunteers\, including physicians\, other professional health care providers an laypersons\, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
