Description
The Second Saturday Book Discussion Group brings great, fiction and nonfiction, classic and contemporary books to life, exploring those shared lives together in a round table setting. Discussions take place the second Saturday of every month at 3pm. Participation is free, and no registration is required. Hold Still: a memoir with photographs by Sally Mann In this extraordinary memoir, a unique interplay of narrative and image, Sally Mann’s abiding concerns – family, race, mortality, and the storied landscape of the American South – are revealed as almost genetically predetermined, written into her DNA by a colorful cast of characters who came before her.
