Description
Create a small piece of art to be traded with other book lovers! Artist Trading Cards are small, original works of art that are made to be traded with other artists/crafters. The only official rule for ATC’s is the size: 2.5×3.5 inches – the size of a standard playing card. The theme is Reading/Library/Literary Love. Supplies will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring any materials they would like to include. ATCs are always traded – never sold. Sign, title and date your cards on the back. This program is open to teens and adults. Each participant will make six duplicate cards. One to be displayed at NOLS, and five to be sent out across the country to one of eleven other participating libraries. The library will receive cards back by early November, and they will be displayed as part of the Port Angeles Art in the Library exhibit through January 23, 2019. When the program is complete, participants may pick up their card and receive exchanged cards from other libraries. This program is made possible by the Port Angeles Friends of the Library and the Friends of Sequim Library.
