Please join us for a Barbecue and help us welcome Dr. Joshua Borg to Hurricane Ridge Vet Hospital. Dr. Joshua Borg was born in southern California and grew up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Auburn, CA. This instilled in him a great love for the mountains and the outdoors. He had a love for animals whether it was family pets or memorizing facts about species around the world. He left for California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo where he found a love working with cattle husbandry and medicine. Pursuing this interest, he went to Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. As he progressed through vet school he discovered his enjoyment of small animal medicine leading him to pursue a mixed animal position where he could split time between both large and small animal veterinary medicine. He worked in the town Nooksack in northwestern Washington as a mixed practice veterinarian for 3 years. Dr. Borg relocated to Sequim Washington in order to focus on small animal medicine. Dr. Borg enjoys the outdoors and the opportunities the Olympic Peninsula has to offer and cheering on his Kansas State Wildcats in football.
