Description
BirdFest-BirdQuest: a fun free game for everyone that brings together high school students, merchants and the community to support the Olympic Bird Festival & encourages shopping local.
Find & match the ceramic bird sculptures created by Jake Reichner’s Sequim High School ceramic’s class to the business where they are hidden. Game cards available at each of the participating merchants & Sequim Chamber of Commerce.
April 2nd- 14th turn in Game Cards & People’s Choice up until 4pm on April 14th: Forage Gifts & NW Treasures at 121 W. Washington Street, Sequim.
Sunday, April 15th at 2pm Grand Prize & People’s Choice Awards: drawing of the correct BirdFest-BirdQuest game card and awarding cash to the top three favorite Sequim High School Ceramic Bird Sculptures at Northwest Raptor & Wildlife Center Presentation. Taking place at Dungeness River Audubon Center’s “River Stage” in Railroad Bridge Park 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim, WA www.OlympicBirdFest.org You need not be present to win.
Grand Prize: Tour of the Northwest Raptor and Wildlife Center www.nwraptorcenter.com for up to six people, a Gift Card to Hi-Way 101 Diner, plus a one year’s membership to the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society www.olympicpeninsulaaudubon.org ; newsletter and discounts on classes.
For the remainder of April, the Sequim High School student’s ceramic bird sculptures will be on display at the Dungeness River Audubon Center in Railroad Bridge Park 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim, WA www.DungenessRiverCenter.org
