Description
Blue Whole Gallery will present Ten By Ten, its annual exhibition showcasing more than 80 artists from local, regional, and international communities. The exhibition opens October 24th and continues through November 29th.
Every artwork had to meet one requirement: its outer dimensions could not exceed 10 inches by 10 inches and it had to hang on a wall. Beyond that, artists were free to explore any medium and creative direction.
Ten By Ten is not the usual gallery show! Alongside traditional two-dimensional artwork are three-dimensional works in ceramics, metal, glass, jewelry, wood, and other media. The ten-inch limitation has inspired artists to think creatively about scale, texture, dimension, materials, and presentation.
Opening Reception: October 24th, 4:00–7:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Open to the public. No admission charge.
