Description
The kick-off concert for the 2022 summer series will honor the long careers of John Williams with a medley of a few pieces from his movie scores, and Stephen Sondheim with “Send in the Clowns” from the Broadway musical ‘A Little Night Music’. More energetic pieces to “Welcome Back” live concerts will include ‘Bugler’s Holiday’ by LeRoy Anderson, the medley ‘Duke Ellington in Concert’, and a couple of marches from John Philip Sousa and Karl King.
