Description
In celebration of President’s Day, Sherwood Assisted Living presents “Contemporary Conversations with George Washington.” The event features America’s first president, George Washington, on Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 19, at 2:30 p.m. Sherwood is located at 550 West Hendrickson Road, Sequim, WA. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness Vern Frykholm, a seasoned reenactment actor, portray George Washington in a performance that transports audiences back to the year 1799. Mr. Frykholm, as George Washington, will briefly share insights into his Presidency and then answer questions about any other aspect of his life. Come with questions that you have always wondered about and be prepared to meet the president face to face. “Contemporary Conversations with George Washington” is open to the public at no charge, and no RSVP is required. Sherwood Assisted Living welcomes individuals of all ages, and with no school on Presidents’ Day, the organizers hope to see families attending together.
