Description
Visit our Gallery at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. We are excited to bring local artist and sculptor Clark Mundy into the gallery this spring for a show titled Between Worlds. Mundy uses copper, western red cedar, and a variety of other materials to fashion colorful yet life-like renditions of the local biosphere. Between Worlds will focus on Pacific Northwest marine life. Mundy says he is inspired greatly by the restoration of the Elwha River, the explosion of life that its renewal has fostered, and the history of the people who have fought the longest to free it. He incorporates Coast Salish design into some of his work to honor the inspiration he’s received from the Klallam people.
The Exhibit will continue through May 14, 2017
The center is open from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
