Join us to discuss the opportunity to create the Sequim Community Service Center.
Sequim is home to numerous small, volunteer-led nonprofit organizations that quietly provide services to our community in a variety of ways. Many function with little or no operating budget, often doing business from homes or borrowed spaces. This can make them invisible to funders, potential volunteers, and each other. Moreover, they lack access to common necessities such as affordable storage and meeting spaces. But even larger and more visible groups share in those shortages.
Right now, our community has a unique confluence of need and opportunity. While this project to create a local nonprofit center has been in the works for nearly a year, it now takes on an aspect of urgency as the ideal location is about to become available. Come learn more about this unique prospect and add your voice.
