Description
Is Christianity true and applicable for you today, or is it outdated and irrelevant in the 21st century? A debate “Christianity: Should I Embrace It or Reject It?” will commence at the Chimacum High School Auditorium on Saturday, March 25th, 6:30pm. The public is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a thoughtful and stimulating evening in an environment of courtesy and respectful dialogue. Christianity, centered on the person of Jesus of Nazareth is adhered to by 30% of the world’s population despite 2000+ years of criticism on both social and academic levels. You are invited to enjoy a considerate debate for thoughtful citizens. Valerie Tarico, Ph.D. a psychologist and writer in Seattle, Washington, and the founder of Wisdom Commons will discuss reasons why Christianity ought to be rejected. Christian apologist, Luuk Vande Weghe from Quilcene, will argue that Christianity ought to be embraced. Moderating will be Marcia Weicht of Quilcene. Admission is free (donations accepted) and the auditorium will open at 6.00 PM.
