Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic Hosts Screening and Panel Discussion Featuring National Healthcare Experts Sequim, WA – The Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic, Sequim’s Free Clinic, is pleased to announce a screening of the powerful documentary “Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story” at Olympic Theatre Arts on Saturday, November 9th at 1:00 PM and Sunday, November 10th at 2:00 PM. This special event includes a unique opportunity for attendees to engage in an in-depth panel discussion following each screening. The documentary chronicles the inspiring journey of Stan Brock, founder of Remote Area Medical (RAM), as he sacrifices everything to deliver free healthcare to underserved populations. Brock’s mission resonates with the Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic’s own goal of bridging the healthcare gap for vulnerable individuals in our community. Panel Discussion with Healthcare Leaders Following each screening, attendees are invited to stay for a panel discussion that will explore the current state of healthcare access in the United States and its impact on local communities. The panel will feature: • Paul Michael Angell, Director of “Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story” • Christine Lindquist, MPH, Executive Director of the Washington Healthcare Access Alliance • Nicole Lamoureux, President and CEO of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics These distinguished guests bring a wealth of experience and insight into the challenges and innovations in healthcare access, both nationally and within Washington State.
