DoW Mentor Protégé Program Overview

Hosted by the Washington State APEX Accelerator and MoveAmerica, this virtual workshop will explore how the Department of War Mentor-Protégé Program is a critical initiative designed to foster partnerships between experienced defense contractors and small businesses.

Small businesses will learn how to leverage the program to grow the capacity of their business within the defense marketplace.  Large defense contractors will learn about incentives and other benefits to becoming a mentor. 

About the Speaker: MoveAmerica is the MPP Intermediary that helps establish and execute Mentor-Protégé Agreements across the Armed Services and Defense Agencies.

About the Facilitator: APEX Accelerators provides no-cost technical assistance on how to succeed in federal, state and local marketplaces. APEX Accelerators also serve as authorized subcontractors enhancing the training and education to protégés involved in the Mentor-Protégé Program.  This training is also supported by North Olympic Peninsula APEX Accelerator and the Northwest Native APEX Accelerator.
