We’re back for another year on the green! Join Field Hall for our 4th annual “Swinging FORE the Arts” golf tournament at Cedars at Dungeness in Sequim, WA. The proceeds for this event support the ongoing work of our capital improvements campaign. Also, some of the funds will be utilized towards the operation of our “Peninsular Performs”. An arts education program that connects arts providers directly to students and educators in the Port Angeles School District. This is a curriculum-based arts integration approach using music, dance, theater, and visual arts aligning with both Common Core State Standards and National Core Arts Standards. As an independent not-for-profit organization, Field Arts & Events Hall has been built by the community for the community, and this special golf event was established in the spirit of the organizations founders and the goal of bringing people together. The Field Hall is a state-of-the-art facility that celebrated its grand opening on July 27-30th. We are confident that Field Hall’s activities will attract more and more visitors and patrons to our area thus growing our community and economic success. The fun begins with check-in of our 4-person teams including 2 free mulligans per player, a chance to purchase tickets to win one of our bountiful raffle prizes. The tournament will take a scramble format with awards for: closest to pin, longest drive, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place for both men and women, a hole-in-one prize, putt challenge for wine, and raffle tickets for sale. Each player receives a voucher for a hotdog and one drink during play, finishing with our famous burger bar, beer and wine, mixed drinks will be for sale at the bar, raffle drawing, and awards after we play. Bring your best game and a big smile because there will be merriment all around.
