Spend an evening celebrating The Beatles at Field Hall! Prior to our screening of Across the Universe check out the Sunset Bar & Lounge for open Beatles karaoke, hosted by Amanda Lynn Bacon! Field Arts & Events Hall and the upstairs Sunset Bar & Lounge will open at 5PM. Beatles Karaoke hosted by Amanda Bacon will run 5:30 - 6:45PM. Across the Universe will start in the Donna M. Morris Theater at 7PM. (Rating: PG-13, Runtime 133 min). Watch the Trailer A trippy jukebox musical that plays out to songs by the Beatles, spun around a 1960s love story featuring a young activist (Evan Rachel Wood) and her artist boyfriend (Jim Sturgess) navigating that turbulent decade. Directed by Julie Taymor, who co-wrote the screenplay with Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. Featured: performances by rock icons Joe Cocker ("Come Together") and Bono ("I Am the Walrus," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds").
