Free Public Demonstration by Artist Terri Biondolino-Nerikomi Ceramics

Artist Terri Biondolino will be presenting a free demonstration of Nerikomi ceramic techniques at Blue Whole Gallery, June 27^th from 1 to 3pm.  Nerikomi is a traditional technique that involves layering and mixing different colored clays thereby creating intricate and integrated patterns.  Originating in the Chinese Tang Dynasty and later refined in Japan, the method creates pieces whose design and color are developed from the use of Nerikomi techniques. The process results in unique ceramics in form, texture and color.  The demonstration is free and open to the public.  Blue Whole Gallery is located at 129 W. Washington St.
