The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center is excited to partner with the North Olympic History Center for their History Tales series for a presentation on the Elwha Dams.
NOHC Executive Director David Brownell will present on the history of the Elwha Dams and the related artifacts in the NOHC’s collections. Intended to power our communities and industries, these dams had a significant impact on the lives of community members and our surrounding environment.
The NOHC curates artifacts that preserve the history of the dams and the larger story of how these dams impacted life on the peninsula. Artifacts and unpublished photos from the NOHC’s collections documenting the history of the dams will be available for viewing and discussion.
