Join us for an evening of live music featuring Kevin Lee Magner, a seasoned musician with deep roots in the Sacramento Valley, CA. Having relocated to Sequim, Kevin has been a prominent figure in the music scene across the North Olympic Peninsula for five decades. He has showcased his talents both as a solo artist and as the frontman of various bands, performing a diverse array of musical styles. Kevin currently performs in two duos: The Free Rangers with mandolin player Steve Lopes (formerly of Pies on the Run and Bound To Happen) and Dos Locos with guitarist Scott Bradley (Locos Only). Both duos frequently play at intimate venues, delivering captivating performances. Inspired by legendary artists such as Eric Bibb, John Hiatt, Gene Clark, and the late Jesse Winchester, Kevin weaves songs from these venerable songwriters with his own original compositions. His acoustic performances promise an evening of songs and ballads that explore the irony of life through themes of love and longing, heartbreak and hard work, and the lessons learned along the way.
