Description
Circle May 4th in red on your calendar and make plans to shop at the Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County Spring Plant Sale at the delightful Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road in Sequim from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. for our famous half-price sale. (The sale will close briefly from 12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m. in preparation for the 1/2 Price Sale). Veggie and herb starts, perennials, shrubs, saplings and more are in store for shoppers this year with Master Gardeners on hand to help you make the best choices for your garden. Choose from popular vegetable varieties like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and zucchini, then browse our expanded collection of herbs including thyme, oregano, sage and rosemary. Spruce up your green spaces with pollinator-friendly native shrubs and saplings like grand fir, Pacific ninebark, red flowering currant, thimbleberry and mock orange. Pick out a few new perennials like azaleas, asters and Shasta daisies, or select from succulents, ground covers and ornamental grasses for a more water-saving garden. Shop our General Store for eclectic garden-related gifts and gently used gardening supplies. Petals & Pathways Garden Tour tickets will also be on sale for $20. All proceeds from the sale will help to maintain the Woodcock Demonstration Garden, the 5th Street Community Garden in Port Angeles and support the numerous Master Gardener community services such as the Youth Enrichment Program (YEP), Green Thumb Education Series and Digging Deeper presentations. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. Parking is available both in the west entrance lot and adjacent to Buttercup Lane.
