Join us in creating your own colorful vibrant mosaic lantern to enlighten your nights! Mosaic glass artist Cherrie LaPorte will lead participants in decorating their lantern with precut stained glass pieces. Everyone will end up with their own one of a kind piece of art and have a lantern to treasure.
PLUS bring it with you to the Wintertide Festival of Lights for the community lantern parade in Webster’s Woods. Each participant will receive a complimentary ticket to the Wintertide Festival of Lights on Saturday, December 13th from 4pm-8pm.

Cherrie’s artistic career has blazed new trails of creativity and originality in art glass, mosaics and mixed media for over 28 years in North County San Diego now living and designing in Port Angeles WA. Her large body of art work is a varied mix of glass jewelry to large mosaic glass installations displayed in private homes and as public art in libraries, hospitals, gardens and corporate environments to local clients and international collectors.

Cherrie has been teaching fused glass and mosaics for 28 years. Her creative workshops and classes have spanned from teaching children to seniors.
