Description
This SATURDAY September 11th event will be the Grand Finale of concerts for this 2021 musical series with our new "Music Where you BARK!" This is our furriest event yet for our annual Pet Lovers Day from 11:00AM to 4:00PM. On this 9/11 day, it will also be a day for us to celebrate and honor our great nation, all the people, First Responders and all the critters that we love!
Enjoy live music on Saturday. This event is sponsored by KSQM 91.5FM, your listener supported, commercial-free community radio.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the unique tunes from two different performers. This is slated to be a full day of great entertainment and wonderful booths that you will not want to miss.
From 11:00AM-12:30 PM, enjoy the smooth vocals of Tess Teel while she sings bossa nova, swing, jazz, blues and contemporary soft pop/rock in French, Portuguese, Spanish and English with her musical trio.
From 1:30-3:00PM, Sound Advice with Dawn Martin will keep you moving with Motown, Soul and Rock/Roll tunes from the 1960-1970?s.
This will be a full day of fun! Hot dogs will be available from the Sequim Valley Lions and other booths will be there too; many of them in support of our fine furry friends. There is even talk of a pet costume contest by the Sequim Kiwanis!
Hope to see you at the James Center for the Performing Arts in Carrie Blake Park 350 North Blake in Sequim on September 11th from 11:00AM-3:00PM. You will enjoy the music from the Tess Teel Trio and Sound Advice with Dawn Martin! This will be the last live performance for KSQM Summer Concert series but we will have even more fun in 2022!
