OPAS Backyard Birding: “Bird-Friendly Communities” Presenters: Katja Bridwell, Dee Renee Ericks & Patty Giffin Suggested Donation: $5 Please mark your calendars for the start of the OPAS Backyard Birding 2026-2027 season! The first program will focus on making outdoor spaces bird friendly. Come learn from three experts how to create habitats that attract a wide variety of birds—and how to use window treatments, lighting techniques, and predator protections to keep backyard birds safe. Admission to Backyard Birding programs is free. However, a donation of $5.00 per person is appreciated to support ongoing OPAS education and bird conservation programs.
