Description
Enjoy jazz on a summer evening behind the Sequim Branch Library! There is nothing like watching live music while lying on a blanket in the grass, gazing at the Olympic mountains in the background, chatting with friends, and enjoying the feeling of being part of a small town community. Shows take place on the outdoor stage behind the Sequim Branch Library. In the event of rain or inclement weather, concerts will be held inside the Library. Friday, August 30 at 6pm Ted Brancato Jazz pianist Ted Brancato is a musician with four decades of experience in the music business. Since his early days, growing up in Seattle, Ted has been actively performing, composing, arranging and recording music. Ted has performed and recorded with Houston Person, Ron Carter, Christian McBride, Milt Jackson, Ernestine Anderson and Paquito D’Rivera among others. “I am an unabashed fan of melody, as I think you’ll hear upon listening to any song on my albums. I also love music that moves you, either emotionally or physically, or ideally both. It is my hope that you will find songs here that move you.” (Ted Brancato)
