Peanut Butter Drive for Sequim Food Bank

As part of Windermere Real Estate’s annual Community Service Day, our brokers in Sequim are assisting the Sequim Food Bank with their annual Peanut Butter Drive, Friday, June 8th, from 11am-4pm at three Sequim grocery stores: Walmart, Safeway and QFC. Our team of brokers will be collecting peanut butter donations on Friday. The drive continues on Saturday (also at Grocery Outlet) and Sunday. Last year, the peanut butter drive collected 4,000 jars which lasted the Sequim Food Bank through the end of the year. Let’s beat that goal! Peanut butter is a shelf-stable source of protein that food banks love and need. But often, the amount of peanut butter on the shelves runs out long before the expiration date on the labels. Your peanut butter donation will help those who face food insecurity access the nutritious foods they need.
