Description
Musical tributes to unique features of this “big blue marble” we call Earth will be featured in the Sequim City Band’s concert: “Postcards from Earth”. Join the Band’s world tour visiting a variety of locales: Kilimanjaro, Baja California, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite Valley, and our own Olympic Mountains. Composers Percy Grainger, Johannes Hanssen, Mark Camphouse, and Robert Washburn each found inspiration in these environs and they provide us with pieces of music that evoke the magnificence of the wonders of our world.
