Reach for Hospice Race

Sequim Bay Yacht Club (SBYC is hosting the Silver Anniversary of the Reach for Hospice Race on September 16,2017. All donations for this annual fund-raising event go to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC). Over the course of 25 years, SBYC has raised over $304,000 for VHOCC with over $21,000 in donations last year. VHOCC, a 501(c)3 non-profit, provides compassionate care to the terminally ill, their caregivers and families. VHOCC does not bill any patient, insurance plan or government agency. All services are supported by local donations and grants. Funds raised at this event exclusively support respite care for hospice patients and their families. All donations are tax -deductible and not amount is too small! You will receive a receipt for your donation and have assurance that you are supporting this community-minded organization. A win-win for everyone! The sailboat racing starts at noon at John Wayne Marina on Sequim Bay on September 16th. If you want to watch the race, there are picnic tables at the Marina where you can enjoy a lively and colorful sailboat race in the sunshine of Sequim!
