Description
Linda Kaahanui, founder and owner of New Season Move Management, will present “Right-Sizing Your Way to Freedom.” This presentation is the first in a series “Tea with S.H.E.” (Soroptimist Helping and Empowering,) sponsored by the Soroptimist International of Sequim. As we get older, we often find our lifestyle controlled in varying degrees by STUFF. It takes time, space and money to store it, maintain it, move it, etc. Stuff can take over! Discover how to reclaim your "happy space" and do what you really want to do. Learn how to preserve what really matters and liberate yourself from the rest. If you are young, learn how to stay in control of the stuff before the stuff controls you! Linda Kaahanui is the founder and owner of New Season Move Management, a company dedicated to helping older adults transition to a new season in life. Since its beginning four years ago, New Season has helped over 200 adults and families, most of them needing to "right-size" from large homes to more manageable retirement residences. Whether you are a minimalist or a hoarder, this change can be a challenge, both physically and emotionally. Linda's experience and training (certified by the National Association of Senior Move Managers) is focused on helping people overcome the sense of loss and experience the joy of new possibilities!
