Join us for a Jurassic Parliament and Great Meetings Workshop City officials and staff will participate in a workshop on how to hold effective meetings on July 15 starting at 9:00 a.m. online. Anyone involved in meetings can watch and learn. During the workshop, Ann Macfarlane, an experienced parliamentarian, will provide simple principles and guidelines from Robert’s Rules of Order to transform meetings. Ann uses dinosaurs to make Robert’s Rules understandable. Her interactive and entertaining workshop will cover tools for better online meetings, how to hold powerful discussions, what to do when members are difficult or disruptive, the making and amending of motions, and more tools for great meetings.
