Description
The Sequim Accordion Social will be held at the Sequim Shipley Center at 921 E. Hammond Street on Sunday, March 12th, from 1 to 4 pm. A $2-3 admission donation is requested at the door to pay for the room. The Featured Player is Toby Hanson, from Graham, WA. All players should bring their accordion and a song or two to play, and accordion lovers and dancers are invited to attend for some great music. Toby Hanson is a pianist and accordionist who has been playing professionally since he graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in 1998. He plays with several different bands including his polka band, The Smilin' Scandinavians, the French cabaret band Rouge, Western swing band The Jangles, country Americana band Cowgirl's Dream, vintage jazz band Bunny Holiday and the Highball Boys, and the Valse Cafe´ Orchestra. Toby recently was a featured artist at the annual Southwest Polka Party in Las Vegas. Toby's extensive repertoire and professional experience ensure a lively performance that can cover a wide range of popular and ethnic music.
