The Soroptimist Online Garden Show Auction is part of the 2021 Virtual Garden Show. Register starting May 7th for the auction preview, and bid starting May 12th. There are over 100 items in the auction, and more than half of them are garden-related--from planters full of flowers to wonderful garden tools and furniture. You will find things from many of the vendors who have participated in the in-person Gala Garden Show in the online auction. The auction has jewelry, art, things for the new baby and so much more. There are bigger items, too! Take a look and then bid on a "staycation" at Creekside Haven, freshly baked scones every month for a year, a sightseeing flight from Sequim to Port Townsend with lunch at the Spruce Goose and other wonderful experiences.
Funds raised at this auction support many Soroptimist programs, including the Live Your Dream Award and scholarship opportunities for high school seniors and returning adult students. These awards and scholarships achieve our core mission of advancing access to the education for women and girls to achieve economic empowerment. Additional Soroptimist programs that benefit women, girls and our community include: the Medical Loan Closet with free short-term loans of medical equipment, Domestic Violence Awareness programs, and Tea with SHE--Soroptimist Helping and Empowering. SHE offers a variety of informative activities that meet the needs of various age group of women in our community. We also provide support to community agencies whose missions align with ours.
