Description
Expect the unexpected with THE FLYING KARAMAZOV BROTHERS, featuring the four self-proclaimed eccentric lunatics spicing things up with laugh-out-loud comedy, cheap theatrics, arcane errata, and astonishing juggling feats. Formed at UC Santa Cruz in 1973, THE FLYING KARAMAZOV BROTHERS have been seen around the world, on Broadway, on television and on the big screen. Kick off your summer with this hilarious all-ages theatrical event! The Field Hall Pat Donlin Lobby and upstairs Sunset Bar & Lounge open pre-show at 5PM and will remain open and serving food and drinks through intermission; last call at 8PM. No ticket is required to join us in the Sunset Lounge pre-show from 5PM - 7PM. THE FLYING KARAMAZOV BROTHERS are wild-haired, flame-throwing, juggling, kilt-and-tutu-wearing performers. They are beloved by adults, students, tourists, theatergoers, theatre-avoiders, pseudo-intellectuals, pensioners who remember vaudeville, friendless geeks, hedge fund managers, hedge fund managers who are now Duane Reade assistant managers, kids (and not just the ones with a solid background in the classics), disgraced religious leaders, Kardashians, and politicians. Pardoned? Incarcerated? They don’t discriminate. “Extraordinary entertainment! Don’t walk, don’t run, FLY to see the amazing Karamazovs.” -NY1 News "A triumph. As close to a sure thing as can be found onstage. 100 minutes of cleverness and comedy that go by in a flash." -The New York Times "Give your inner child a hundred minutes of fast-paced fun. From the moment they go on stage...these four funny men get the audience laughing. A triumph of theatrical silliness combined with serious juggling skills and musicianship." -Associated Press "A treat for anyone with a funny bone!" - Time Out Kids
