Dennis earned his BS in Psychology from Allegheny College in 1974 and his Master’s in Psychology from Kansas State University in 1978. He went on to serve for 31 years as a civilian addiction therapist for the Department of the Army, working with thousands of active-duty soldiers and their families at Fort Riley, Kansas. The techniques and insights he will share come directly from the evidence-based approaches he used throughout his career. Since retiring to the Olympic Peninsula with his wife Sherry in 2011, Dennis has remained deeply engaged in psychology, sleep science, and wellness. His ongoing self-directed study, combined with continuing education and professional presentations, ensures that his talks reflect the most current understanding of the topics he covers.
