Description
The Travelin' McCourys are known for precise, high-energy picking and a sound that builds on tradition while pushing the genre forward. Led by brothers Ronnie McCoury (mandolin) Rob McCoury (banjo), sons of bluegrass legend Del McCoury, the band is known for master-level musicianship, fast-driving instrumentals, and vocals shaped by decades on the road in the Del McCoury Band. Their sound sits at the intersection of traditional bluegrass, progressive jam influences, and improvisation-driven live performance.
