Join PangeaSeed, Puget Sound Restoration Fund, and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center for a transformative public workshop as part of the "Water Connects Us All" exhibit. Led by artist Jill Pelto, this interactive event will explore the intersection of art and marine science as tools for environmental stewardship.
Participants will hear from Jill and a scientist from the Puget Sound Restoration Fund about their collaborative journey to create a science-informed artwork for the "Water Connects Us All" exhibit. The workshop will also feature an engaging, hands-on component where attendees can work with locally relevant marine scientific data to create their own artistic expressions. By fostering creativity and scientific literacy, this unique experience will inspire participants to rethink how art can communicate critical marine conservation issues and motivate action for ocean protection.
