At almost age 96, WWII Veteran Private First Class Tom McKeown of Port Angeles, WA will celebrate an early birthday dressed in his Marine Corp League uniform and in a hot air balloon operated by Dream Catcher Balloon and Executive Director, Captain-Crystal Stout of Sequim, WA. This special butterfly motif balloon will allow Tom to be transferred from a vehicle straight to a seat and a safe 5 point harness. Seated Tom will enjoy a tethered hot air balloon ride at the Sequim Valley Airport (468 Dorothy Hunt Lane, Sequim WA) this Saturday, February 10 at 9:30 AM. Veterans and their families are encouraged to cheer with Tom and also participate in a hot air balloon ride.
