Step into the seductive world of vintage cinema as Studio Bob presents Night of the Vamp, a dazzling evening dedicated to cinema’s first true sex symbol, Theda Bara. Taking place on Friday, May 2nd, this 21+ immersive event combines classic film, captivating burlesque, and an electrifying atmosphere that will transport audiences to the golden age of silent cinema. The evening’s entertainment will feature burlesque performances by Mia Maravilla (Seattle), bookending a screening of A Fool There Was—the 1915 silent film that catapulted Theda Bara to stardom and established her as the ultimate femme fatale. Known for her sultry gaze and hypnotic presence, Bara’s legacy as the original “Vamp”. The night will be hosted by Zoe Omega, setting the tone for an evening intrigue. Adding to the ambiance, DJ Thaumatic will curate an evocative soundscape, enhancing the pre-show and post-film atmosphere.
