Voices for Veterans is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in the state of Washington. The prime mission is to assist homeless veterans, veterans in need, and their immediate family members, in part through a Stand Down. All of the organizational funding comes from grants and monetary and in-kind donations. There are no paid personnel - only dedicated volunteers. All contributions go directly to the veterans. Stand Downs are held three times annually: In May, Forks, Washington, in July, Port Townsend, and October in Port Angeles. Hot meals are provided: Breakfast and Lunch Connecting veterans with medical/dental screening, screening info for colon and breast cancer, housing information, employment and education, veteran benefits, counseling, legal aid, haircuts, pet supplies, new clothing and more.
